LOVE MESSAGE  part 2

Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment

Love The Lord With All Thy Heart

Jesus looks at the devotion of the church to God, and determines the church had never loved the Lord with the heart.  Loving the Lord with the heart is what Jesus saw was missing among the people. There were a lot of commitments, to serve and obey the commandments, but there was no love. They tried to live and obey the commandments. They gave their 10% and kept the Sabbath, but there was no love in the heart.

Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Man Had Never Loved The Lord With The Heart
Jesus Saw That The Condition Of The Heart Was Without Love For The Lord

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  The mouth was confessing the truth of the heart.  There was no confession by the mouth that there was love.  Your heart is in charge of you.  You are led by your heart and not by your mind.  Your hearts accept and receive first; and then relay it to your mind.   You probably never thought about; when you fall in love with your husband or your wife it is the heart that falls in love.

Your Heart Determines Your Love And Your Wants And Then Relays It To The Mind

You cannot love or want until your heart wants it or loves it first.  You can not know whether you want it or love it until your heart relays it to your mind.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

If you do not want with the heart the mind will never know.   If you do not “want” with your heart, or love with your heart, it will never come into your mind.   Your mind only thinks what the heart tells it.   Your heart always loves first or wants first.   Before it comes into your mind, your heart conveys to your mind what it wants or what it loves.

Your Heart Is In Charge Of You

There are times when you don’t obey what the heart relays to your mind.  The heart can have love in it for the Lord, but you won’t obey it.  If you obey the heart when the heart shows love for the Lord, you can love the Lord with all your heart. You do this by obeying the heart.
Christ asks us to love with the heart.  Every saved person has in them the love of God.   All you have to do is obey the heart and love him with all your heart.  You want with the heart, not the mind.  You think with your mind and want with your heart. Your heart determines your wants. That is why the scripture says wherever a man’s heart is, that’s where his treasure is.

It Is The Heart That Commits Sin

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Religions That Don’t Have Love For The Lord

The church in Bible days loved the church, but did not love the Lord. That is how the church is today.

Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Hardness Of Heart Means No Interest

Mark 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Mark 10:5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
