The Belief That You Are Going To Heaven When You Die; The Spirit Leaving The Body

Acts 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

First I want to talk about the response that we have receive regarding this message. I received a call from our TV program that said I was preaching against the bible. It was said that I was holding the Bible in my hand and preaching against it, that I should read it. ( That’s the problem I am reading it,). It was also said, “he is a false preacher, he should not be on the air given false information." You preach Bible and they say it’s not Bible when you preach the Bible. They say you are preaching against the Bible. Disrupters of the truth look for scriptures to discredit scriptures.Going to heaven when you die is a contradiction of the Bible (I Want to prove this to the caller). The Bible just stated that David is not in heaven (ACTS 2:34).

Contradiction Means The Opposite Of The Truth

The thinking of going to heaven when you die is a denial of the resurrection. It contradicts the resurrection, (the opposite of the truth). Now note what the Bible says,

John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself,
John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Christ the first fruits, from the dead afterward they that are Christ’s, are resurrected at his coming.

1 Cor 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, become the first fruits of them that slept.
1 Cor 15:23 Christ the first fruits, afterward they that are Christ's at his Coming

Going To Heaven When You Die Is Not Bible

Your spirit will never be in the form of a ghost, without a body. God did not make you to be a spirit without a body, you will have a spiritual body.

1 Cor 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

You are raised with another body. You are never without a body.

1 Cor 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body

The Body Shall Be A Quickening Spirit; In Other Words, The Body Itself Will Be A Spirit

I Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit (the last body is a spirit).
1 Cor 15:46 Howbeit that not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1 Cor 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

We will be the heaven on earth, the kingdom of God on earth.

1 Cor 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

The Resurrection: Believing In Going To Heaven When You Die Rather Than Believing In The Resurrection; Going To Heaven When You Die Is Superstitious Thinking

The resurrection is a very widely taught subject in the Bible. It was the primary purpose of God giving his only begotten son, that we might have life. To have life we would have to be raised from the dead, be brought back to life. The thinking that the spirit goes to heaven and the body goes in the grave, is not according to knowledge.

Even The Dead In Christ Shall Rise
Being In Christ Doesn't Mean You’re Going To Heaven When You Die

1 Thes. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Luke 20:35-36 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

The Belief That The Spirit Goes To Heaven And The Body Goes In The Grave

1 Cor. 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
1 Cor. 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
1 Cor. 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
1 Cor 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

When And Where Are We Judged

If you going to heaven when you die, when are you going to stand before the judgment seat of Christ? We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ (every one).

2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things in body, according to that he hath done, whether good or bad.
Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

The Judgment Takes Place At The Resurrection, Not In Heaven

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

What Advantage Is It To Me If The Dead Rise Not?

1 Cor. 15:29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

The Form Of Life After Death; A Process That Starts In This Life

I Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam a living soul, the last Adam was made a quickening spirit

The Last Adam A Quickening Spirit

Psa 71:20 Thou, which hast showed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
Psa 119:25 . My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. We are disproving the saying that so many believed, going to heaven when you die to day we want to show forth the condition of the body of the saved before you die, in hope this will proved to those who believe this, that going to heaven when you die is not Bible

The First Man A Living Soul

I Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit

When you are born in this world you are a living soul, a human being, a fleshly person. Your body lives of itself, it is a living soul it live of itself. It possess the means to live of itself. Without this ability man could not be a sinner with this ability man can live without God. Every sinner is alienated from God.

Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world

The Last Man A Quickening Spirit (The Body Is A Spirit)

I Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit

The saved is the last man he is no more a living soul, he is no more flesh, (he is still in the body but the body is now a quickening spirit. It lives off the spirit, Christ is now the life of the body, (not the heart, not the blood not the good health, but the spirit.

Rom 8: 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you

Quicken Your Mortal Body

Your fleshly body becomes quicken. A mortal body pertains to human beings that are subject to death. A body belonging to this world. That has not been born again. The mortal body must be quicken by the spirit, it is then a quickening spirit it is no more a mortal body. The body must be quicken before it dies. This is the receiving of the holy ghost. After this you are not in the flesh, you are no more a mortal body.

You Are Not In the Flesh

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

The Body Is Dead Before It Actually Dies

Rom 8:10 And if Christ in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit life because of righteousness.

Your body goes in the graves as a quickening spirit. Your body is quicken before it dies if you are saved. It is ready for the resurrection to raise you up a spiritual body.

Controversial Saying; Saying That May Cause The Belief That The Spirit Leaves The Body

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost this does not mean that the spirit lift the body but to entrust God for care or preservation
2 Cor. 5:13 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Our Building Of God Will Not Be Given Us Until The Resurrection; Controversial Saying

2 Cor. 5:6 Therefore always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

This body is not your home even thou you are at home in the body but you are not going to leave this body until the resurrection.

2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.(that what we desire while in the body)

Controversial Saying; In The Belief That The Spirit Goes To Heaven When The Body Dies

2 Peter 1:14 Knowing that shortly I must put off my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed (this is what he was referring to)
1 Cor 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
